Protecting your business should be a top priority as an entrepreneur. After putting so much time, money, and effort into your brand, how would you feel if someone stole your entire concept; and there was nothing you could do about it? Horrible, right?!! I know I would, but that's why this information is so important.
You could be a multimillion dollar business. Your brand could be known all over the United States, and have 500,000 followers on instagram. Your book can be an amazon best seller, but if you didn't take the proper steps to protect it you could still be at risk.
When I was about 18, I wanted to start an online boutique. My stepdad made me write a business plan and register my EIN/LLC, and I didn't really understand what the point of it was at the time. I didn't think about the legal side of things. I just wanted to sell clothes because I loved clothes lol. As an adult I still can be like that lol. I just want to get straight to it because the fine print is boringgg, but I also never like to get caught lacking, so I forced myself to understand these concepts. I know that starting a business can be overwhelming in every sense of the word. Crossing all these t's, dotting these i's, and frying all these fish butttt hopefully I helped a little. If you have anymore questions, or a subject you'd like me to explain let me know!
